Brandhand was originally founded in June 2020 in Mauritius. In the beginning, I was selling face masks and scrunchies. Gradually, started expanding my product range. Now that Brandhand moved to Canada, my main focuses are totes, cupholders, bucket hats and scrunchies.

Brandhand is a woman-owned small business. The owner embodies all the roles; designer, maker, photographer, model, accountant, social media manager, sales person & more. All products are handmade in small batches by the owner herself from cutting fabrics to final product.

Hi there! My name is Gaelle, pronouns Gale (she/her). I am currently a Fashion Design student at TMU (formerly Ryerson University). I started sewing when I was around 10 years old and fell in love with it. I am more of a sewist than a fashion designer. I have been constantly sewing for nearly 10 years now. The reason why I love sewing is seeing the impressed faces of people and happiness of my customers. I am proud to be able to say "Yes, I made this!".
